About The Position

The Cantio, a new 97-room boutique hotel in the Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Muncie, Indiana, is hiring Guest Services Representatives for its opening team. This front desk role helps create welcoming first impressions and positive guest experiences by greeting visitors, assisting with their stays, answering questions, sharing local recommendations, and resolving concerns. The position also supports hotel opening preparations through training and maintaining an organized, welcoming front desk. The role works closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to coordinate room readiness and guest requests. Requirements

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and handle check-ins and check-outs accurately.
Assist with reservations, answer questions, explain hotel amenities, and share local recommendations.
Listen to guest needs, respond to concerns, and follow through on requests.
Process payments, maintain accurate guest accounts, and protect guest privacy.
Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments on room readiness and guest requests.
Keep the front desk organized and welcoming.
Participate in training to prepare for the hotel opening.
