About The Position

The Hotel Dispatcher coordinates daily Front Services operations, connects guests with services, and supports the Bell Desk team. The role provides refined luxury service and helps deliver a positive guest experience from arrival through departure.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Six months of prior relevant guest services experience.
• Six months of prior relevant experience handling multiple phone lines.
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Guest services experience in a similar resort setting.
• Front Services and/or dispatcher experience.
• Experience in a AAA 5 Diamond, Mobil 5 Star, or Forbes hotel/resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide refined luxury service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Answer Bell Desk phones and assist guests with requests and inquiries.
• Resolve guest requests and complaints promptly and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Dispatch Bell Attendants for luggage handling during check-in, check-out, and other service requests.
• Record guest service requests, timestamp service cards, and place them in rotation for the next available Bell Attendant.
• Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions, and transfer calls to appropriate departments.
• Coordinate convention group arrivals and departures by completing paperwork, scheduling bag-pull times, and communicating with tour leaders about bus schedules and room changes.
• Organize incoming and outgoing guest laundry by verifying guest names, room numbers, item counts, and room changes.
