About The Position

Keeps the hotel lobby breakfast or refreshment area, or concierge room, stocked, clean, and orderly. The attendant welcomes guests, answers questions, replenishes food and beverage items, and prepares the area for the next meal period or day. The role also includes cleaning the dining area and, as requested, other public areas, guest rooms, laundry areas, or special project spaces. The employee follows Kinseth Hotel Corporation policies and property-specific guidelines, including dress code, safety, and performance standards. Employees are expected to maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled. Proper safety precautions must be followed to avoid injuries. The job involves frequent standing, walking, hand use, reaching, and lifting or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds. It also involves frequent climbing or balancing and occasional talking, hearing, tasting, or smelling.

Responsibilities

Meet and greet hotel guests and answer questions and inquiries.
Put away weekly deliveries of supplies and rotate stock.
Restock food and beverage items on the hotel bar as guests deplete them, and put away food and supplies at the end of the meal period.
Wash dishes and breakfast food trays.
Clean waffle irons and microwaves.
Clear and wipe counters and tables, place centerpieces on tables, and remove salt and pepper shakers.
Fill coffee pots before leaving.
Fill the hot water dispenser and electric steamers to prepare for the next day.
Dispose of trash and wipe down trash cans.
Break down cardboard boxes and carry them to the trash or recycling receptacle.
Vacuum and mop the dining area and pantry.
Organize the hotel pantry.
Complete the pantry communication log for other shifts and hotel employees to review.
Communicate inventory shortages, maintenance issues, or guest complaints to the manager.
Assist with cleaning public restrooms, the pool area, fitness center, main lobby, sleeping rooms, or laundry, and with special cleaning projects as requested.
Follow KHC policies and property-specific guidelines and standards, maintain a professional image, and report to work as scheduled.
Follow proper safety precautions to avoid injuries.
