About The Position

Hampton Inn Melbourne/Viera is seeking a friendly, reliable, service-driven Breakfast Attendant to welcome guests and provide a clean, appealing breakfast experience. The role involves preparing and maintaining the breakfast buffet, keeping breakfast and lobby areas clean and stocked, assisting guests, and supporting inventory, light food preparation, and closing tasks. The position is full-time and works morning shifts, typically from 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM; the posting also lists availability typically from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Requirements

Ability to stand and move for several hours.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly.
Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet with fresh, appealing items.
Prepare simple food and beverage items, including fruit, coffee, and hot and cold items.
Keep breakfast and lobby areas clean, stocked, and inviting.
Wipe down tables, counters, and equipment regularly.
Refill juice, coffee, milk, utensils, napkins, and condiments as needed.
Answer basic guest questions about breakfast, the hotel, and the local area.
Restock and reset for the next day’s breakfast service.
Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with inventory, light kitchen preparation, and closing tasks.
