About The Position

Keeps the hotel lobby breakfast or refreshment area, or concierge room, stocked and clean, neat, and orderly. The role includes guest assistance, stocking and organizing supplies, cleaning dining and pantry areas, and communicating inventory shortages, maintenance issues, and guest complaints to a manager. The attendant may also assist with cleaning public restrooms, the pool area, fitness center, main lobby, sleeping rooms, laundry, or special cleaning projects as requested. Employees are expected to follow KHC policies and property-specific standards, maintain a professional image, observe safety practices, and report to work as scheduled.

Requirements

Follow proper safety precautions at all times to avoid injuries.
Meet the physical demands of the role, including frequently lifting or moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Meet and greet hotel guests and answer questions and inquiries.
Put away weekly deliveries of supplies and rotate stock.
Restock food and beverage items at the hotel bar as guests use them, and put away food and supplies at the end of the meal period.
Wash dishes and breakfast food trays; clean waffle irons and microwaves.
Clear and wipe counters and tables, place table centerpieces, and remove salt and pepper shakers.
Fill coffee pots before leaving, and fill the hot water dispenser and electric steamers to prepare for the next day.
Dispose of trash, wipe down trash cans, break down cardboard boxes, and carry them to the trash or recycling receptacle.
Vacuum and mop the dining area and pantry, and organize the hotel pantry.
Complete the pantry communication log for other shifts and hotel employees to review.
Communicate inventory shortages, maintenance issues, and guest complaints to a manager.
Assist with cleaning public restrooms, the pool area, fitness center, main lobby, sleeping rooms, laundry, or special cleaning projects as requested.
Follow KHC policies and procedures, including dress code, safety, and performance standards; maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled.
