About The Position

The Hotel Breakfast Attendant prepares and serves the daily breakfast bar, greets guests, and helps ensure they are comfortable and satisfied. This weekend-only position involves setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar according to brand standards, preparing and replenishing food and beverages, following safe food handling and service practices, and keeping the breakfast area and kitchen clean.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve the daily breakfast bar, greet guests, and help ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
• Set up and maintain the breakfast bar according to brand standards and menu requirements.
• Follow safe food handling and service practices at all times.
• Take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day.
• Prepare breakfast foods such as eggs, sausage, bacon, and waffle batter.
• Stock coffee, juice, and milk dispensers.
• Set up serving dishes, trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products; arrange cold foods such as pastries and cereals.
• Clear and clean tables as guests finish using them.
• Prepare and set up hot food items.
• Wipe up spills and restock items throughout breakfast hours and for the next day.
• Wash serving equipment and return it to storage; return reusable food supplies to storage.
• Keep the breakfast area clean, including removing trash and cleaning counters, cabinets, and floors in the breakfast area and kitchen.
• Listen and respond to guests' requests and complaints.
