About The Position
The Hostperson at Eight75 Bar & Lounge at Beau Rivage is the first point of contact for guests at the newly reimagined bar and lounge, reopening in early August 2026. The role welcomes guests and helps create a smooth arrival and seating experience for a lively destination offering cocktails and live entertainment. The Hostperson manages reservations, waitlists, seating assignments, guest requests, and reservation records, while maintaining current knowledge of lounge operations, capacity, layouts, and events. The role also coordinates with servers, food runners, bartenders, and management, and supports the front-of-house team in providing elevated hospitality. This is a full-time swing-shift position in Biloxi, Mississippi. The schedule requires flexibility to work outside the primary schedule, including weekends and holidays based on business needs. The starting rate is $14.51 per hour plus tips.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Welcome arriving guests with a warm, friendly, and professional greeting.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments to support a smooth guest experience.
- Answer incoming calls and accurately maintain reservation records using the reservation system.
- Coordinate special requests, celebrations, and VIP accommodations, communicating details to leadership.
- Maintain knowledge of daily reservations, lounge capacity, seating layouts, hours of operation, and special events.
- Communicate guest needs and table status with servers, food runners, bartenders, and management.
- Engage with guests waiting to be seated, provide updates, and help them feel welcome.
- Keep menus current, clean, and presentation-ready.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting host stand and entrance area.
- Support the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service throughout the lounge.
