About The Position

The Farmer’s Daughter Restaurant at Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a friendly, energetic, and welcoming Host. As the first point of contact for guests, the Host creates a positive first impression and helps set the tone for their dining experience. The role involves welcoming and seating guests, managing reservations and phone calls, accommodating guest requests, and maintaining an inviting host stand and lobby while working with the team to deliver exceptional hospitality. The Host must be available for at least three shifts per week, including weekday evenings and weekends. Weekday shifts are Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM–9:00 PM. Saturday shifts are 11:00 AM–4:00 PM or 4:00 PM–9:00 PM. Sunday shifts are 8:30 AM–2:00 PM, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, or 3:00 PM–9:00 PM. Availability for major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Easter, and Mother’s Day, is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Friendly, dependable, punctual, and team oriented.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Neat, professional appearance and ability to wear the required uniform.
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
Work permit required for applicants under 18.
Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and performing the physical tasks required for the role.
Available for at least three shifts per week, including weekday evenings and weekends.
Available to work major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Easter, and Mother’s Day.
