About The Position

The Host is the initial point of contact for guests and is responsible for starting each visit with a positive experience. The role includes greeting, seating, and paging guests, while also serving as a communicator and guide around the cafe. Hosts help create memorable guest experiences and support the cafe team. This position may be cross-trained with Retail Sales Associates.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Remain calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere.
Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
Display a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers.
Meet the minimum legal age for employment.
Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow uniform guidelines.

Responsibilities

Open doors where applicable.
Welcome guests and thank them.
Answer questions accurately and politely.
Maintain a clean and organized waiting area.
Answer the phone.
Direct guests to areas and restrooms.
Provide security for co-workers, guests, and celebrities.
Assist servers, bussers, and managers.
Perform opening, closing, and side duties, including cleaning glass, polishing brass, sweeping and vacuuming floors, wiping menus, and maintaining restrooms.
Assure the complete satisfaction of each guest.
Create memorable experiences and entertain guests.
Follow safety and sanitation standards, uniform guidelines, and Hard Rock Cafe’s core values and mission statement.
Recycle products where possible.
