About The Position

The Bar Porter is responsible for providing bar supplies as needed and maintaining a clean, well-organized work area. The role supports bartenders, maintains bar stock and cleanliness, and may perform bartender duties when business needs require. The position works in an assigned location and shift according to department needs.

• Typically acquire the required knowledge and abilities through two months of on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Set up bars for operation, cut fruit, stock ice, and empty garbage.
• Support bartender needs and maintain bar stock.
• Report maintenance problems to the Beverage Manager.
• Work in the assigned location and shift according to department needs.
• Maintain par levels, order bar supplies, and deliver orders.
• Sort bottles and corrugated cardboard for recycling.
• Maintain bar cleanliness in accordance with Health Department standards.
• Work as a Bartender as needed by business needs.
• Attend and participate in meetings and complete assigned follow-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
