About The Position

Wings ‘N More is seeking a Host for its Southwood Valley location in College Station, Texas. The Host welcomes and seats guests, accommodates seating preferences when possible, manages waits, and supports a smooth flow of service. The role also includes keeping guest areas clean and presentable, assisting servers, handling takeout orders and payments, and providing friendly service throughout each guest’s visit.

Responsibilities

Greet arriving guests warmly and promptly.
Greet and seat guests in a welcoming, friendly manner while accommodating their needs and preferences when possible.
Accommodate special seating requests and assign guests based on preferences and service-station flow.
Record guest names and party sizes when immediate seating is unavailable, provide estimated wait times, and call guests when tables are ready.
Offer menus upon seating and inspect tables for proper presentation and completeness.
Relay messages to servers as needed.
Clean and reset tables promptly after guests leave.
Maintain clean entrances, lobbies, dining rooms, and restrooms; clean chairs, booths, and surrounding carpet.
Assist servers with maintaining and stocking service stations.
Transport bus tubs of dirty dishes to the dish room when needed.
Take food and beverage orders from guests requesting takeout and enter orders in the point-of-sale system.
Process guest payments as quickly as possible.
Thank guests for visiting and invite them to return; provide a positive, friendly send-off.
Perform assigned side work at the start and end of each shift.
Fill in as needed to support smooth and efficient restaurant operations, as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
