About The Position

The Lenox is seeking an energetic, welcoming Host to support guest experiences across three dining outlets: Sweeney’s on Boylston, The Irving at The Lenox, and Willow & Ivy. Hosts help set the tone for each dining experience by creating a warm atmosphere, managing reservations and guest flow, and supporting seamless service. The position calls for a polished, professional demeanor and confidence in anticipating and exceeding guest expectations.

Requirements

• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• At least 1 or 2 years of experience in a food and beverage department.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Weekend availability is required.

Nice To Haves

• Multilingual ability.
• Familiarity with Toast or similar POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, memorable first impression for every guest.
• Manage reservations and guest flow to ensure timely, seamless service.
• Answer phone inquiries and reservations.
• Maintain exceptional service standards and a polished, professional demeanor.
• Assist the service team by clearing and resetting tables as needed.
• Keep host stations and equipment clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Anticipate and exceed guest expectations with confidence and care.
