About The Position

The Maintenance Technician at The Ivy performs hands-on maintenance and repair work across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems, helping keep the property’s interior and exterior in good condition and residents satisfied. The role includes preventive maintenance, documenting and addressing issues before they become larger problems, and providing after-hours support as needed. The technician works with a supportive team and communicates respectfully with residents and coworkers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Mechanical problem-solving ability, including interest in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Initiative and ownership of work.
• Clear and respectful communication with team members and residents.

Nice To Haves

• EPA Type 2 or Universal certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and structural elements.
• Keep the property's interior and exterior in good condition to support resident satisfaction.
• Perform preventive maintenance, document issues, and address them before they become larger problems.
• Provide after-hours support as needed.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team.
