About The Position
SSP America is hiring a full-time Host / Hostess for its restaurant portfolio at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, which includes Buddy's Pizza, Chili's, Max & Erma's, Sora Japanese Cuisine, Coffey Beanery, and other restaurants. Hosts provide customer service, process guest orders quickly and accurately, and help maintain cleanliness and service standards. The role pays $17.50 per hour and offers full benefits, free parking, and an employee meal. SSP pays an average of 80% of monthly premiums per coverage level and offers dental, vision, and other voluntary plan coverages. SSP America is an equal opportunity employer. Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and help make guests' days.
- Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
- Receive customer payments and process change.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Keep the work area clean throughout the day.
- Clean equipment and utensils; remove trash; sweep and mop the work area; and dust and clean.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
