About The Position

SSP America is hiring a full-time Utility-Dishwasher for Andiamo at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. The role focuses on creating a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas, supporting dining-room and kitchen operations, and following sanitary standards. The position pays $19 per hour. Advancement opportunities are available, and hiring is immediate. The employer offers free parking, an employee meal, and full benefits. Responsibilities

Create a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas.
Remove refuse to designated areas.
Maintain the cleanliness of surfaces and equipment, including floors, ceiling tiles, walls, windows, worktables, hoods, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, and storage areas.
Clear and reset dining-area tables between seatings as needed, and transport service-ware to the kitchen for cleaning.
Scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans; wash them by hand or load them into a dishwasher, then return them to proper storage.
Clean equipment using specific chemicals to meet sanitary standards; work may include use of heavy equipment.
Assist guests with specific requests and communicate special needs to a server or supervisor.
Load and unload supply trucks, transferring items between storage and work areas.
Stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of food items.
Perform other duties as assigned.
