About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Host to join the team at Five Steakhouse. The role supports the restaurant’s service culture by helping provide guests with fast, courteous service. The position includes greeting and escorting guests, coordinating reservations and special dining services, maintaining dining room serving stations, and handling guest payments and shift receipts. The role requires flexibility to work different hours and shifts.

Requirements

Minimum high school education.
Team-player attitude.
Ability to multitask.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers and calculators.
Basic mathematical skills for making change and issuing refunds.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate restaurant personnel activities to provide fast and courteous service to guests.
Schedule dining reservations and arrange special services for diners.
Greet and escort guests and provide menus.
Inspect dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness.
Collect payments from guests.
Total receipts at the end of the shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
