About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server to join the team at Five Steakhouse. The role focuses on providing hospitable guest service, taking accurate orders, ensuring meals are delivered and presented properly, and maintaining a clean, well-prepared station. Servers must know the menu and service procedures, follow applicable liquor regulations, process guest checks and payments, and assist with bussing tables. The position is part-time and allows for flexible hours and shifts. The hiring process may include interviews, screening, reference checks, and a potential employment assessment.

Requirements

At least one year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
Team-player skills.
Ability to multitask.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers and calculators.
Basic mathematical skills for making change and issuing refunds.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Nice To Haves

Post-high-school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct guests and are properly prepared and presented, or that the buffet is appealing.
Check the station before, during, and after shifts to ensure proper setup and cleanliness.
Follow State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages, including restrictions concerning minors and intoxicated guests.
Maintain familiarity with menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
Assist with bussing tables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
