About The Position

A Host/Hostess at Black Desert Resort creates a welcoming first impression for guests at one of the resort’s food and beverage outlets. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, this role is the first point of contact for restaurant guests and supports an outstanding dining experience by managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating efficient seating. The position is onsite at Black Desert Resort, year-round and full-time, with a stated pay range of $15.00 per hour.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality role.
Knowledge of reservation systems and point-of-sale software.

Responsibilities

Greet arriving guests warmly and professionally.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize dining room capacity.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to support smooth, efficient service.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and special requests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area.
Monitor dining room activity to ensure guests are seated in a timely manner.
Assist with setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after service.
Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
Provide guests with information about resort amenities and dining options.
Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Perform other work as assigned.
