About The Position

The Hospitality Services Supervisor oversees food and beverage services for residents, guests, and visitors at a senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The role helps ensure service is creative, flavorful, nutritious, varied, and timely across meals, special events, and activities. It also supports the operation’s marketing needs while maintaining a profitable, well-run department.

The supervisor assists the Dining Services Director with staffing activities, develops and documents department training, ensures menus and recipes are followed, and supervises the serving line to support attractive food presentation and proper service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1–3 years of food service supervision experience in a hospital, hotel, healthcare, or senior living environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure creative, flavorful, nutritious, varied, and timely food and beverage service for residents, guests, and visitors during meals, special events, and activities.
• Coordinate appropriate food and beverage provisions for meals, special events, marketing events, and activity events; collaborate on the operation’s marketing needs while maintaining a profitable, well-operated department.
• Assist the Dining Services Director with recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and terminating department staff, and document and coordinate these actions.
• Develop, implement, conduct, and document Food Service Department in-service training programs, and schedule staff for department and community in-service training.
• Ensure menus and recipes are written and followed.
• Supervise the serving line to ensure food is displayed attractively and served properly.
