About The Position

Securitas is hiring a full-time Hospitality Security Officer for an iconic landmark in downtown Seattle that hosts thousands of visitors and private events annually. The officer will help safeguard people, property, and information while maintaining a professional presence. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain professional at all times. The listed schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:45 a.m., and the wage is $28.90 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
At least 1 year of customer service experience and at least 1 year of security experience.
Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Perform access control at security entrances and exits.
Conduct regular patrols of buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify potential security risks.
Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment.
