About The Position

The Hospitality Internship Program provides in-depth knowledge and practical experience in hotel operations. Interns gain exposure to multiple departments and develop relationships with leaders in the field. The role is primarily based in front-of-house operations, with time spent in other hotel departments, including housekeeping, sales and marketing, and maintenance. Interns learn department-specific skills and resources and gain experience across hotel operations.

The internship requires a three-month commitment. Interns are employees of the hotel and must not have other internships or job obligations.

Requirements

• Commit to a three-month internship.
• Must not have any other internships.
• Must not have other job obligations while employed as an intern at the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through the property's functional areas to understand how each department contributes to the hotel's success.
• Develop skills and leadership through hands-on work and shadowing under the guidance of the General Manager and other departmental leaders.
• Assist guests when needed.
• Learn each department's operations by observing team members, participating in meetings, asking questions, and working on special departmental projects.
• Provide input into the development and implementation of services and processes.
• Comply satisfactorily with each department's company policies and procedures.
• Assist department heads with assigned operational functions and help develop departmental strategic plans.
• Complete tasks using and learning applicable systems, tools, equipment, and software.
