About The Position

The Hospitality Internship Program provides in-depth knowledge and practical experience across multiple aspects of hotel operations. Interns gain insight into a career in hotel operations, build relationships with industry leaders, and develop skills through exposure to multiple departments. The role is primarily based in front-of-house operations, with time in other hotel departments, including housekeeping, sales and marketing, and maintenance. Interns learn department-specific skills and resources while gaining experience across hotel operations.

Requirements

• Commit to a three-month internship.
• Have no other internships during the program.
• Have no other job obligations; interns are employees of the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through functional areas of the property to understand how each department contributes to the hotel's success.
• Develop skills and leadership through hands-on work and shadowing under the guidance of the General Manager and other department leaders.
• Assist guests when needed.
• Learn department operations by observing team members, participating in meetings, asking questions, and working on special departmental projects.
• Provide input into the development and implementation of services and processes.
• Comply satisfactorily with company policies and procedures in each department.
• Assist department heads with assigned operational functions and help develop departmental strategic plans.
• Complete tasks while learning and using applicable systems, tools, equipment, and software.
