About The Position

The Hospitality Aide provides routine daily care and services to assigned patients, supporting their safety, cleanliness, and greatest possible degree of independence. The role includes sharing patient observations as required, maintaining equipment, attending in-service training, and helping maintain a clean, hazard-free environment. The aide is expected to follow Cantex Continuing Care Networks Clinical Policies and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and incorporate Patient Care Management Systems training into patient care.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a caregiver is preferred.

Responsibilities

Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for patients.
Contribute knowledge of patient observations as required.
Promote a safe and clean environment.
Ensure equipment, including mobile devices, is charged, clean, and functional, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
Attend in-service training programs.
Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Enforce the employee responsibilities in Cantex Continuing Care Networks Clinical Policies and Procedures for Abuse Prevention.
Attend the weekly Patient Care Management Systems in-service and incorporate it into patient care delivery.
Assure patient/resident safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.
