About The Position

Hartsfield Village, part of Powers Health, is hiring a full-time Hospitality Aide for its Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing facility. This non-certified nursing role provides customer service and non-direct-care support to residents, patients, and floor staff while the employee participates in on-site CNA classes. The employer pays employees while they learn and pursue CNA certification, with the opportunity to pass the certification test and be promoted.

Hartsfield Village is a Continuing Care Retirement Community that promotes successful aging. Its Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing building has 112 beds and emphasizes customer service, advanced rehabilitation techniques, skilled clinical professionals, medical integrity, teamwork, and a friendly environment for patients and visitors.

Requirements

• Ability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Demonstrated compassion for seniors and their families.
• Experience working with the senior population or comparable experience.
• Desire and ability to work productively as part of a team to provide excellent customer and clinical services.
• Must be vaccinated for COVID before hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents, patients, and floor staff with non-direct-care needs, such as answering call lights, passing linens, filling water, and restocking supplies.
• Support Dining Services by serving and collecting trays, transporting residents to and from dining areas, and passing snacks.
• Follow safety and infection-control policies and procedures.
• Communicate with residents and staff in an understandable, honest, and caring manner.
• Safely perform all essential job functions.
• Maintain the resident unit and work area in a clean and safe manner.
• Perform other tasks as required.
• Participate in CNA training classes and take the certification test.
