About The Position
The Hospitality Aide provides residents with routine services in accordance with their care plans and as directed by a supervisor. The role supports residents through assigned admission, discharge, and transfer tasks, reports changes in condition and suspected or observed abuse, and helps ensure supplies are available. The Hospitality Aide follows resident-rights, safety, sanitation, and infection-control policies and attends required education and training sessions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to function independently.
- Flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
Nice To Haves
- Prior healthcare experience is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to and practice Resident Rights policies and procedures.
- Assist with resident admission, discharge, and transfer requirements as assigned.
- Promptly report identified resident changes in condition to the Charge Nurse.
- Immediately report observed or alleged resident abuse to the Charge Nurse in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Notify the Charge Nurse when supplies need restocking and are unavailable.
- Adhere to and practice safety, sanitation, and infection-control practices.
- Attend education and training sessions as required and assigned.
