About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper for the first shift at Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role may be assigned to any location on the client’s premises and is responsible for cleaning and maintaining orderly facilities across a healthcare campus. Duties may vary by account based on business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The position pays $16.00 per hour and offers a $500 sign-on bonus paid in three increments. The listed shift is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotational weekends. Qualified candidates may receive immediate offers. Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless granted a medical or religious exemption. A post-offer medical evaluation, background screening, and drug test are required. A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent, is required; janitorial and medical cleaning experience are a plus. The work involves frequent standing, walking, reaching, handling, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds. Employees may be exposed to chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles, and may need special clothing or safety equipment. Responsibilities

Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
Dust furniture and equipment.
Polish metalwork.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
Replenish bathroom supplies.
Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
