About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper for the first shift at Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood, Arizona. The position pays $18.85 per hour and has a schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including every other weekend and holiday. The housekeeper may work in any location on the client’s premises and is responsible for cleaning and maintaining facilities in an orderly condition on a health care campus. Responsibilities may vary according to account needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The role involves standing and walking for extended periods, frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds, and possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment. The workplace typically has a quiet noise level, regular exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and occasional work near moving mechanical parts. Xanitos requires post-offer medical screening, background screening, and a drug test.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
Dust furniture and equipment.
Polish metalwork.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
Replenish bathroom supplies.
Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
