About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for the first shift at Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. The role cleans and maintains orderly facilities and locations throughout a healthcare campus. Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises, and responsibilities may vary based on business necessities, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The position pays $19.05 per hour and is scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotational weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Pass post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug testing.
Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing and walking; handling and reaching; frequent climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods.
Required visual abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
May be exposed to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the janitorial industry.
Medical cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
Dust furniture and equipment.
Polish metalwork.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
Replenish bathroom supplies.
Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
