About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring part-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for the first shift at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, Michigan. The role cleans and maintains orderly facilities and locations throughout a healthcare campus and may be assigned to any location on client premises. Responsibilities may vary by account based on business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The first shift runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and includes every other weekend and holiday. Immediate offers will be extended to qualified candidates.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the janitorial industry.
• Experience with medical cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
