Hospital Housekeeper, Various Shifts, Baptist Downtown
About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to join the Environmental Services team at Baptist Downtown. The role is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Baptist Health uses UV robotic disinfection machines to break down the DNA of germs before an area is manually cleaned. This is a full-time position with various shifts: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shift when scheduled on weekends. The schedule is 40 hours per week, and rotating weekends and holidays are required. The position is based at Baptist Downtown, 800 Prudential Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
Requirements
- Follow safety and security protocols.
- Maintain cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of Environmental Services experience preferred.
- High school diploma preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned cleaning duties, including janitorial and custodial services.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize areas including offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas.
- Maintain cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude.
- Follow safety and security protocols.
- Perform other duties as required.
