About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring a Hospital Housekeeper for its Environmental Services team at Baptist Downtown. The position is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Baptist uses UV robotic disinfection machines to break down germs’ DNA before an area is manually cleaned.

This is a full-time position working various shifts for 40 hours per week. Rotating weekends and holidays are required. The work location is Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida.

Requirements

• Follow safety and security protocols.
• Maintain cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of Environmental Services experience preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned cleaning duties, including janitorial and custodial services.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize areas such as offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas.
• Maintain cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude.
• Follow safety and security protocols.
• Perform other duties as required.
