Hospital Housekeeper Part Time
About The Position
Perform daily and periodic cleaning tasks in assigned hospital areas to maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Sanitize floors, walls, windows, doors, fixtures, furnishings, stairways, elevators, entrances and exits, horizontal surfaces, bathrooms, unit common areas, utility rooms, and patient rooms. Cleaning may be maintenance or restorative, depending on needs. Complete work in accordance with Infection Control policies and use proper tools, body mechanics, and lifting techniques. Perform duties with consideration for patients and their families and friends, respecting personal dignity and values. Pursue improvement opportunities, adapt to changing assignments, and understand that assigned areas may change based on hospital needs as determined by Environmental Services Leadership.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Environmental Services or housekeeping experience (preferred).
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
