About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring part-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for the 3rd shift at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville in Collierville, Tennessee. The position cleans and maintains facilities and locations across a health care campus, with assignments potentially varying according to business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The shift runs from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM and includes rotating weekends and occasional holidays. The hourly pay rate is $14.25.

The role includes cleaning patient and other facility areas, maintaining floors and surfaces, removing waste, replenishing bathroom supplies, and transporting small equipment or tools. The physical demands include prolonged standing, frequent movement and handling of items weighing up to 50 pounds, and possible exposure to chemicals requiring protective clothing or safety equipment. The work environment regularly involves fumes or airborne particles and occasionally involves working near moving mechanical parts; noise is usually quiet.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent.
• Complete the required post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test.
• Be able to meet the role’s physical demands, including standing for long periods and frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the janitorial industry.
• Medical cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
