About The Position
Xanitos, Inc. is hiring full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for the first shift at Valleywise Desert Vista BHC in Mesa, Arizona. The role cleans and maintains an orderly condition in facilities and locations across a healthcare campus. Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. Duties may vary among accounts according to business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The position pays $16.00 per hour and has scheduled hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It includes weekends and rotational holidays. Candidates must complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug testing. Janitorial or medical cleaning experience is a plus. The role involves prolonged standing and frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds. Employees may be exposed to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment, fumes or airborne particles, and occasionally moving mechanical parts. The usual noise level is quiet.
Requirements
- Complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug testing.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing and frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to meet the vision and focus requirements of the position, with or without corrective lenses.
- Ability to work around possible chemical exposure that may require special clothing or safety equipment.

Responsibilities
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenish bathroom supplies.
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
- Keep healthcare campus facilities and locations clean and orderly.
