Hospital Housekeeper 2nd Shift Full-Time
About The Position
Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper for the second shift at Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. The role cleans and maintains an orderly condition in facilities and locations across a healthcare campus. The employee may work at any location on client premises. Responsibilities may vary by account according to business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The scheduled shift is 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with a $1.00 shift differential. The position pays $19.05 per hour and includes rotational weekends and holidays. Qualified candidates may receive immediate offers. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds, and may involve exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment. The work environment regularly includes fumes or airborne particles and occasionally involves working near moving mechanical parts; noise is usually quiet.
Requirements
- Post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test are required.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform the stated physical activities, including climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and reaching, handling, and using hands.
- Vision abilities include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
- Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenish bathroom supplies.
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
