Hospital Housekeeper - First Shift Part-Time
About The Position
Xanitos, Inc. is hiring part-time, on-call Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for the first shift at Enloe Health in Chico, California. The role cleans and maintains orderly facilities throughout a health care campus and may be assigned to any location on client premises. Responsibilities may vary based on account needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The schedule is two days per week, typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some positions potentially varying. Additional days may be needed, including weekends and holidays. The hourly pay rate is $20.23. Qualified candidates may receive immediate offers.
Requirements
- Complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug testing.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including prolonged standing; frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds; and the listed movement and vision requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the janitorial industry.
- Medical cleaning experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenish bathroom supplies.
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
