About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring part-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for the third shift at Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood, Arizona. The position pays $18.85 per hour and consists of three 8-hour shifts per week, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Employees work every other weekend and holiday.

The housekeeper may work anywhere on the client’s premises and is responsible for cleaning and maintaining orderly facilities across a health care campus. Duties may vary by account according to business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. Qualified candidates may receive immediate offers. Post-offer medical screening, background screening, and a drug test are required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent, required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform the physical demands of the role, including frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to meet the vision requirements of the role, with or without corrective lenses.
• Must complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
