The Hospital Housekeeper will join the Environmental Services team at Baptist Silverleaf, contributing to a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role utilizes advanced UV Disinfection Technology alongside manual cleaning to ensure a protected hospital environment. This is a full-time, night shift position requiring rotating weekends and holidays, with a standard 40-hour work week.
Requirements
- 1-2 years Environmental Services Experience
- High School Diploma Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services.
- Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes various areas such as offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas.
- Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
- Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
- Always follows safety and security protocols.
- May perform other duties as required.
