About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to join their Environmental Services team at Baptist Silverleaf. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The hospital utilizes advanced UV Disinfection Technology with UV Robotic Machines to break down germs before manual cleaning, enhancing protection for team members and patients. The position is full-time, with day shifts typically from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM when scheduled on weekends or holidays. Rotating weekends and holidays are required, with a 40-hour work week. The primary location is Baptist Silverleaf FSED.
Requirements
- 1-2 years Environmental Services Experience
- High School Diploma Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services.
- Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes various areas such as offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas.
- Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
- Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
- Always follows safety and security protocols.
- May perform other duties as required.
