About The Position

The Hospital Housekeeper position is part of the Environmental Services team at Baptist Silverleaf. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The position utilizes advanced UV Disinfection Technology, including UV Robotic Machines, to eliminate germs before manual cleaning. This role is full-time, working evening shifts, with specific hours from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM when scheduled Monday-Friday, and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM when scheduled on weekends/holidays. Rotating weekends and holidays are required, with a 40-hour work week. The primary location for this role is Baptist Silverleaf FSED.

Requirements

• 1-2 years Environmental Services Experience
• High School Diploma Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes various areas such as offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas.
• Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
• Always follows safety and security protocols.
• May perform other duties as required.
