About The Position

The Floor Technician Finisher will join the Environmental Services team at Baptist Silverleaf FSED, contributing to a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role utilizes advanced UV Disinfection Technology with UV Robotic Machines to eliminate germs before manual cleaning, enhancing protection for team members and patients. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, typically involving weekday evening shifts (11:00a-6:30a), one weekday evening shift (3:30p-11:00p) per week, and weekend/holiday shifts (7p-7a). Rotating weekends and holidays are required.

Requirements

• 3-5 Years Housekeeping Experience
• 1-2 years Floor Finishing Experience
• 1-2 years Hospital Experience

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs major floor cleaning and refreshing throughout the medical center.
• Performs all Environmental Services-related tasks.
• Performs heavier cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods.
• Maintains assigned equipment for cleanliness and recommends repairs as needed.
• Performs all other tasks which may be assigned.
