About The Position
Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Tacoma & Renton - Washington. This role offers a unique practice environment with no waiting rooms, no double-booked appointments, and no corporate production dashboards, allowing veterinarians to focus on providing compassionate end-of-life care. The practice is privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led, and importantly, does not use non-compete contracts, ensuring veterinarians have career freedom. The ideal candidate is experienced in handling difficult conversations, enjoys meaningful patient interactions, and seeks a slower pace than general or emergency practice, while still practicing medicine. This role is also suitable for doctors returning to practice or seeking a schedule that accommodates family life.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD/BVMS
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
- Weekend Availability (Rotational)
- Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted
