About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Brooklyn & Queens, NY. This role offers a unique practice environment free from waiting rooms, double-booked appointments, and corporate production dashboards. The focus is on providing compassionate end-of-life care with adequate time for each patient and family. Heartstrings Pet Hospice is a privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led veterinary practice that explicitly does not use non-compete contracts, allowing veterinarians to build their careers on their own terms. This position is ideal for experienced veterinarians seeking to move away from the fast pace of general or emergency practice, those returning to work after a break, or individuals looking to build a schedule around family commitments.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD/BVMS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
• Weekend Availability (Rotational)
• Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted
• Professional Communication Skills
