About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Westborough & Holden - Massachusetts. This role offers a unique practice environment with no waiting rooms, no double-booked appointments, and no corporate production dashboards. The focus is on providing compassionate, unhurried end-of-life care. The practice is privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led, and importantly, does not use non-compete contracts, allowing veterinarians to build their careers freely. This position is ideal for experienced veterinarians seeking to move away from the fast pace of general or emergency practice, those returning to work after a break, or individuals building a schedule around family commitments.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD/BVMS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
• Weekend Availability (Rotational)
• Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted
• Professional Communication Skills

• Experience in end-of-life care or a desire to focus on meaningful veterinary work.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations with compassion.
