About The Position
Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pet families in the Metropolitan Charlotte, North Carolina area. This role offers a unique practice environment free from waiting rooms, double-booked appointments, and corporate production dashboards, allowing veterinarians to focus on providing compassionate end-of-life care with adequate time for each patient and family. The practice is privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led, and importantly, does not utilize non-compete contracts, ensuring veterinarians have career freedom. The ideal candidate is experienced in handling difficult conversations, seeks a slower pace than general or emergency practice, and values meaningful patient interactions.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
- Weekend Availability (Rotational)
- Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted
- Professional Communication Skills
