About The Position
Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families in Caldwell & Boise, Idaho. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice veterinary medicine without the pressures of a traditional waiting room, double-booked appointments, or corporate production dashboards. The focus is on providing compassionate, unhurried end-of-life care. Heartstrings Pet Hospice is a privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led practice that does not utilize non-compete contracts, ensuring veterinarians have career freedom. The ideal candidate is experienced in handling difficult conversations, seeking a slower pace than general or emergency practice, and may be returning to work or building a schedule around family commitments.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD/BVMS
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
- Weekend Availability (Rotational)
- Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted
