About The Position
Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Salem & Haverhill - Massachussets. This role offers a unique practice environment with no waiting room, no double-booked columns, and no corporate production dashboard. The focus is on providing compassionate end-of-life care with ample time for each appointment. Heartstrings Pet Hospice is a privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led veterinary practice that explicitly does not use non-compete contracts, ensuring veterinarians have career freedom. The ideal candidate is experienced in handling difficult conversations and seeks a less demanding pace than general or emergency practice, while still practicing medicine. This role is also suitable for doctors returning from a break or building a schedule around family commitments.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD/BVMS
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
- Weekend Availability (Rotational)
- Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted
