About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Tacoma & Renton, Washington. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice veterinary medicine without the constraints of a traditional waiting room, double-booked appointments, or corporate production dashboards. The focus is on providing compassionate, unhurried end-of-life care, allowing veterinarians the time to connect with families and their pets. Heartstrings Pet Hospice is a privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led practice that explicitly does not use non-compete contracts, ensuring veterinarians have career freedom.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
• Weekend Availability (Rotational)
• Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted
• Exude Compassion, Dignity & Respect to ALL
• Professional Communication to Team & Families

Responsibilities

• Practice veterinary medicine in a mobile, in-home environment.
• Provide hospice and euthanasia services for pets.
• Communicate professionally with team members and pet families.
• Work independently in a mobile setting.
