About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Omaha & Springfield, Nebraska. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice veterinary medicine without the typical constraints of a traditional practice, such as waiting rooms or double-booked appointments. The focus is on providing compassionate end-of-life care with adequate time for each patient and family. The practice is privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led, and importantly, does not utilize non-compete agreements, allowing veterinarians to build their careers on their own terms. This position is ideal for experienced veterinarians seeking a less demanding pace than general or emergency practice, those returning to the workforce, or individuals needing to build a schedule around family commitments.

Requirements

DVM/VMD/BVMS degree
Valid Driver's License
Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
Weekend Availability (Rotational)
Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted
Exude Compassion, Dignity & Respect to ALL
Professional Communication to Team & Families
