About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Draper, Sandy & Lehi - Utah. This role offers a unique practice environment with no waiting rooms, no double-booked appointments, and no corporate production dashboards. The focus is on providing compassionate end-of-life care with ample time for each appointment. The practice is privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led, and importantly, does not use non-compete contracts, allowing veterinarians to build their careers on their own terms. This position is ideal for experienced veterinarians seeking a slower pace than general or emergency practice, those returning from a break, or individuals building a schedule around family life.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD/BVMS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
• Weekend Availability (Rotational)
• Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted

Responsibilities

• Practice veterinary medicine in a mobile environment.
• Conduct in-home hospice and euthanasia appointments.
• Handle difficult conversations with compassion, dignity, and respect.
• Communicate professionally with the team and pet families.
• Work independently in a mobile setting.
• Lift up to 45 lbs unassisted.
